Why Our Lawsuit Matters
More than Ever

Even though the wave of the current variant of Covid may be declining, the changes the legislature made to our laws have permanently limited our public health system’s ability to deal with future waves. These laws have also weakened the separation of powers enshrined in Utah’s constitution.

Regardless of the state of the pandemic, these power grabs need to be reversed to protect the integrity of Utah’s government and the effectiveness of our public health institutions. Utahns believe that public health decisions should come from state or local health departments, not from politicians with little or no scientific knowledge.
